Day 01: Tanzania- Arusha.
Arrive JRO International Airport and after clearing with immigrations proceed to the arrival hall where you will be met by our representative and transfer to Kibo Palace Hotel.
Day 02: Arusha / Tarangire National Park.
Breakfast at your hotel. You will be met by our representative for a safari briefing and later drive to Tarangire National Park. The Baobab studded park stretches southeast of Lake Manyara around the Tarangire River and has the highest concentrations of wildlife compared to the other parks. Overnight at the camp. Whistling bats are an added feature of the night life.
Day 03: Tarangire National Park/Lake Manyara National Park.
Breakfast at your camp. Depart and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing drive. This vegetative diverse park is set beneath the dramatic western escarpment of the Rift Valley. See the amazing Baobab tree, an assortment of Ficus and Acacia trees and all the life that inhabits them. This is a birding paradise, along with all the standard East African mammals other than rhinoceros. The group enjoys a safari tour to the back-end of the park, noted for its hot springs, abundance of giraffe and African bush elephant. Don’t be surprised if you see mongoose, clip springer and the elusive rock hyrax. Lake Manyara is a soda lake and is noted for its flamingos.
Day 04: Lake Manyara national Park / Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.
Day 05: Serengeti National Park.
You can either have a relaxed breakfast or depart for full day game drives around 9:00 AM with
packed lunch and return back to lodge late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Or you can depart at
6:00 AM on an early morning game drive. Later return to accommodation for breakfast and
relax for a bit and depart on an afternoon game drive with packed lunch. You will explore the
central portion of the Serengeti National Park today. The legendary Serengeti National Park is
the most renowned safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards.
The
central portion of the Serengeti - known as Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in
the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and
therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. During the off
season of the migration, one must really look out for the many lion pride that thrive in this region.
The interactions and survival of these lion pride provide an excellent game viewing experience
all year round. Along with a picnic lunch during the full day game drive, the day will come to a
close by around 5PM. The long day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s
rest in your accommodation
Day 06: Serengeti National Park / Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and fourteen kilometers of isolated natural beauty. Ngorongoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.
Day 07: Karatu Area/ Amboseli National Park.
Breakfast at your hotel. Later drive to Tanzania/Kenya Namanga border via Arusha Town arrive early morning. After clearing with immigration proceed to Kenyan side where you will meet your professional driver guide, drive to Amboseli National Park arrive with en route game drive to your lodge.
Day 08: Amboseli National Park.
Spend a full day in the park with morning and afternoon game viewing drive in the park. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest free standing mountain in the world. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species.
Day 09 : Amboseli National Park/Nairobi/depart.
Breakfast at your lodge. Later drive to Nairobi, head to Carnivore restaurant for lunch. Later in the afternoon transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
